As head of FDOT District 7, Gwynn oversees the planning, development and operations for all transportation modes within Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando and Citrus counties. Gwynn was appointed Secretary in July 2017, and he previously served as Director of Transportation Operations for FDOT District 1 in Bartow. He has three decades of experience leading organizations in the private sector and providing consulting services to the transportation industry.
