"The Table in the Park” is a sophisticated, unique outdoor community dinner to fund scholarships for EXCEL, Excellence in Computer Education and Learning, an innovative vocational education opportunity for young people on the Autism Spectrum. This new program is critically needed as it has been designed to meet the skills and capabilities of young adults on the Autism Spectrum, many of whom graduate high school with little hope for employment.

MacDonald Training Center is collaborating with the City of Tampa, and Hillsborough County to present “The Table in the Park,” an elegant, 3-course catered dinner on November 23 in Curtis Hixon Park to raise awareness and funding for the new initiative. The festive sit down dinner under the stars in Tampa’s beautiful riverfront park will offer the public an opportunity to experience a night of gratitude and support for people with disabilities.

"The Table in the Park” will be held in conjunction with the opening of the annual Holiday events including the Ice Rink, and Winter Village in the park. Tampa Theatre will be showing a family friendly "Movie in the Park".
