Barrett School of Music is excited to offer an event for adult musicians of all skill levels to get together and showcase their talents! Jam night will be a time for musicians to play and improvise music in a full band setting! Not only will musicians have a platform to show case their talents, but also the opportunity to network with fellow musicians looking to create and perform! Being able to learn from fellow musicians, build connections in the music community, and perform fun and exciting music are just some of ways Barrett School of Music hopes to enrich the musical journey offered in the Jam Night event!
Barrett School of Music instructor, Justin Gallar, will be guiding the event's approach of creating and performing as a full band. Throughout his schooling career Justin has performed in concert bands, symphonic bands, jazz bands, ensembles, and been involved in several competitions along the east coast. For the past ten years Justin has been performing as a drummer for local bands in the Tampa Bay music community, currently drumming for the band Til Now. Justin's writing, recording, and live performance experience will ensure the musicians at this event will become familiar and comfortable with the mechanics of operating as a full band.
Jam Night will take place every Thursday from 7:30-8:30pm in September, October and November (excluding Thanksgiving).
