Barrett School of Music offers in-home music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels. The insturments we offer are piano, voice, guitar, drums, violin, viola, cello and bass. Our teachers are energetic and creative. We're known for unique lesson styles and prioritizing student engagement.

Role Description
We are seeking a violin teacher for Hillsborough County. The teacher can choose the areas they'd like to teach in as well as the schedule they'd like to set. Base pay is $34/hour.

The Violin Teacher will also be expected to participate in departmental meetings and performances, and contribute to the overall development of the music school.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in teaching violin to students of all ages
• Excellent knowledge of violin repertoire and teaching methodologies
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to the learning style and needs of individual students
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with other staff members
