Join us for an exciting luncheon featuring Michael Stephens, Chief Executive Officer of Tampa International Airport (TPA), as he shares the latest airport updates.

Michael Stephens is a dynamic leader with over 25 years in legal affairs, technology, human capital, and transportation. As CEO of Tampa International Airport (TPA)—America’s Favorite Airport—he drives innovation, strategic growth, and excellence in aviation security and emerging technologies. A U.S. Air Force and Army Veteran, he joined TPA in 2015 as General Counsel and EVP, overseeing IT, HR, Government Relations, Risk Management, and Business Diversity.

Previously, he served as Captain and Trial Counsel in the U.S. Army JAG Corps (also Special Assistant U.S. Attorney) and as an Air Traffic Controller in the Air Force. A cybersecurity and data privacy expert, he testified twice before Congress. A 2024 Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program graduate, he holds degrees from Morehouse College, American University (MA), and its Washington College of Law (JD). Active in The Florida Bar, Association of Corporate Counsel, and Leadership Florida, he serves on the AAAE Transportation Security Services Committee and is dedicated to mentorship and community service.
